1. I can assure you this story is, in fact, true. My roommate, ebgoddess can attest to the fact that I did, indeed, have to have my eye taped closed. And that I had to attend work in this manner, where I dealt with nervous people taking tests who were now more nervous dealing with this weird test administrator with a weird eye smashed down with tape. Which was constantly watering, through the tape, and running down my face. She could also verify the swollen, red, wrinkly rash (haha! i typed WRASH at first) on my eyelid and down the side of my face. Hot.

2. I'm glad you liked the summary. I think of it as the Cliff's Notes version of my post.
