Obviously I need to start with the same words as when I commented on Shouting Into a Hurricane, I turn my back and you write fic ;) But then again you start with an inappropriate use of a desk at work so déjà vu all around ;)!
You capture grief so perfectly, so succinctly. As I read this I kept coming across lines and thinking, "Yes that is exactly how it is." Love the format it is written in!
And again, thank you for sharing your talent. I'm always amazed by it and grateful that I discovered it via LJ. There are people that add to the world and the things in it, and you are one of them.
Thank you so much, bb! I was a little worried that I was drawing too much from my personal experiences for this--that it said more about my own grief than how Scully might actually feel--so I'm relieved to hear that it felt universal for you.
