I am now officially moved.

Well....99.5% moved.

We started this morning around 10:30 and finished up around 5:00.

We're all exhausted.

But after showers we smell a lot better, that's for sure.

We had madlori pick which place to eat for dinner and ended up at PF Changs where I chowed on my favorite dish, double pan fried noodles.

You know....I got choked up three times today. Once when I was in my old room and looked around at what needed to be done next. That was my room for three years. I loved that bedroom even though I bitched about it being too small. But it was...cozy small. I felt so comfy in that room, sleeping in my bed, covered with my quilts, the walls covered with hobbits and pictures of backstage antics with Duran Duran.

Another time I was standing in the living room and was debating whether I could lift the chair to the outside stoop or not (I couldn't) and I had to step back and look around. This was the living room that I shared with Lori for three years, watched God alone knows how many hours of "Trading Spaces", cried at "Extreme Make-Over Home Edition", cheered for our favorite people on "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Project Runway", watched some great movies, watched some horrible movies, jumped up and down during Oscars 2003, got all excited and fired up for/with Jack on "24", bawled over "Dr. Who", ate tons of popcorn, drank tons of tea and scarfed incredible meals (and cookies) with our friends while playing 6 hours straight of Tripoly, watched Super Bowls and screamed at the Buckeyes. I love this room. This room holds some of my favorite memories.

Then I got choked up again as I was unloading things here. I felt such a rush of...I don't know. It's hard to explain. And I won't say something t00by like "A new chapter of my life was beginning" or something like that. But I can't quite put my finger on it.

Now I look around this place and I can say with no sense of awkwardness that this is "our" place. Not "Jim's place". "Ours".

Heh...now the challenge is to get everything unpacked in the two weeks I have before I leave for Australia!

.....mmmmmmcookies. I so want some Lori Sugar Cookies now.
