Now many of you will know that I loves me some Game of Thrones, as much as I have hurled the books across the room in anger at the death of one of my favourite characters, so I've been avidly watching the cast announcements for the upcoming HBO series.

Kaytee knew a lot more of these actors that I did, and she was very positive about many (despite not knowing the characters).

Many of them look the part.

Great cast, I like the fact that they went more espensive on the people who won't last very long. I'm really hoping they can deliver on this series because it could be the TV equivalent of LotR.

Most of season 1 isn't a small amount of time for Big Name Stars and some of the big names will be sticking around, too.

Thanks for this, it's really exciting to see how much thought they've put into it..

Though, they have some of the hair colours wrong. I'm SURE Joeffrey was meant to be blonde for example :p as was Ceresi.. Maybe they'll give them wigs.

I hope he puts out some more books soon. Bastard :)
