I love the tenderness. Absolutely love it. Spike sort of happy that he almost scored with the Slayer, but at the same time...wanting to do right by her. That's our Spike, and you've captured him perfectly.

Captured Buffy perfectly too: the angst, the emotions running, her wanting Spike there but not. Very well done sweetie!

I friended you ages ago, but realise you don’t always friend back. But be glad just to know when you next update your stories. i am very non scary sort of person and my LJ isn’t too horrendous - I think.

Thanks! Fic always goes up at rachelsfic - I tend not to mention it on my main LJ at all. So, friending that makes the best sense, I should think. :)

Ah, desperate!Buffy. At least in your incarnation, she gets to have a bit of sex to catch her mind off things. Sure, it might be weighing on her mind otherwise, but...

This story is incredibly hot, by the way. You do hot-via-desperation very, very well.

I'm sorry this comment is so zoned out and scatterbrained and inadequate. There's a bunch of quotes I saved to respond to, but for some reason the brain-to-fingers thing is working badly here in kayttown. I promise to do a bit better soon!

Anyway, I totally respect your artistic privilege to make whatever kind of banner you like! :) I would really be happy to have anything, to be honest - it's just lovely to have someone prepared to make something for my fic! :) So, go with your instincts!

I'm so sorry for taking this long to get back to you about the banner. There's a lot of stupid excuses as to why, but I won't bother you with them. I have made you a banner, though, I tried to make it sort of the same style as the wallpaper, but it has different pics and different colors. Let me know what you think, okay? And if there's something I need to fix. :)
