Last Fall, around September or October, I got some financial help from the Coast Guard. Jeff's yeoman on his ship had been giving him problems for receiving mutual assistance, but they're not allowed to tell us no. If we need help, they're supposed to give it to us. Thank you thank you thank you! We were sooo close to being out of debt, like literally 2 collections bills away.. then I blew the last few hundred of that money and things showed up I didn't ever expect to see. It's like God was showing me what I could have avoided had I just listened and followed Him the whole way through.

I just want someone to write me regularly, and make me update my journal about the financial decisions I am making daily. I'd like someone to ask me "Have you payed such&such yet?" just so I have a constant reminder that I can't get away from it this time.

Money has never been a problem for me, because I've never had much of it. When I see a big number like that, I worry! I never got to learn what to do when I have a lot of it!

Can do! I think if I were you (because I am the budgeting queen over here!!), I would start with the largest debt and work your way down to the smallest.
