When it gets published, I'm buying at least two copies!
My favourite YA novels (first read when I was 11 or 12) are Ursula K LeGuin's Earthsea trilogy, which contained exclusively people of colour over the titular archipelago. I'm not sure if she ever had as much trouble getting it published as YA authors today seem to have getting stories with LGBQT characters into print.
