Oooh, Inda. I was thinking, reading the last book, that someone needed to write something between Inda and the king for Yuletide. The textual longing is so intense that it made me wonder if Inda is just clueless. It's hard to believe they came to any explicit understanding, considering they were just kids when they last saw each other.

Hmm, reading your tags, apparently the last book is out, which may in fact address the situation. I've only read up through _The King's Shield_.

Not saying anything about what happens canonically, but I too like the idea of more consequences-of-longing. ETA: However that might play out.

(It addresses the issue from an interesting angle, in that Inda is not clueless exactly. Definitely read it!)

To write? Well, all people can ask for are characters, so if you only listed characters in the first books, you could write about them at any stage of their lives even if the requesters preferred later fic.

Oh please nominate Red Cliff!

I am thinking of nominating Capital Scandal, Angel Sanctuary (so sad no one nominated it last year!), Cantarella, Grand Guignol Orchestra (who knows?), and Chinese mythology.

Ooh, yes to Cantarella and Capital Scandal (even though I haven't watched it yet)!

Ann Maxwell - Fire Dancer series
George R R Martin - Thousand Worlds

Red Cliff aka Chi Bi

Some more Inda thoughts estara October 14 2009, 04:50:49 UTC
I'd love to read something more about Hadand, who I think was the only of the characters most in view/I loved that sacrificed herself on the altar of her love/duty without getting some sort of reward/piece of mind in return. She just always had to settle. I wouldn't mind something about exploring her personal timeline in canon in a more positive light, she also lost the spotlight on her in the fourth book very soon.
