JB and I went to see Mysterious Skin, a movie about two boys who are abused by the same man when they're children, and grow up to be affected by and interpret that in very different ways. It's written and directed by Gregg Araki, a gay indie director who I almost interned for when I was an undergrad, but ended up going for an internship at Castle

I read lots of James Herriot as a kid and grew up in a city with an agricultural college - cow fisting is pretty much stuck in my mind as standard vetirinary practice, which means that the idea of non-gratuitous cow-fisting is totally not weird in my head. :)

Yes, I too have seen cow-fisting in real life for medical purposes. Horse-fisting, too. But I wasn't expecting to see it on the silver screen!

I've watched Tom Green. Not even gratuitous cow fisting can shock me.

Besides, having grown up in the Midwest - we have to get the cows pregnant somehow.
