I went to a temple flea market, and bought several haori jackets, similar to this ( Read more... )

That would be seriously tempting if there was even the remotest chance of there being something in my size.

They have men's sizes, and you're tall, not wide. I should think a man's jacket would fit nicely - it just has to fit your torso, not your legs.

But it would also have to fit my arms, and those are on the long side for my height. But if you think one would fit, sure.

I trust your judgement on color and design.

Not sure if any of these would actually fit, but take a look. I have measurements noted. Kimono jacket photos are up!

I would *love* one.

Meant to add: I could go for either color; I'd have to see the actual ones you got to express a preference. Probably black, though, and if you see one in a good emerald or hunter green, I may very well take two of them off your hands.

I'd love one. Black's my goto color, but I think an emerald green, a beautiful blue, or some other rich jewel tone would be even better. Even red. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

"One size fits all" - does that fit 6'0"?

It should. They are hip length, so torso width would be much more of an issue than height.

My torso width is within normal American ranges, but my hips/shoulders are slightly wider than the average American female. However, I think with what looks to be the looseness of the jacket, I won't have as many issues as I would something more fitted.

I have one of them inherited from my mother, but what I would be interested in is a fox figurine, but I am kind of broke so I could only go up to about 20 bucks. I like naturalistic not abstract and any type of material (plastic, straw, wood...)
