my wonderful day on the set of WOWP
sorry this took so long for me to make...i had almost finished it last night but then the post froze and i had to start over
ok here we go...we arived at Hollywood Center Studios at around noon which is when we met up with Frank Pacheco, he plays a delinquent wizard on the show....you'll meet his character in the episode Alex Gives Up
after meeting up with him he took us to the set of wizards
this is about the time i started fangirling out on the inside
when we arived they were getting ready to shoot a scene so we had to be really quiet....im not going to tell you anything about what we saw but i will tell you that the episdoe we saw was the second part of an hour special called Wizards vs. Angels
the girl from Jonas LA, the one that played Big Robs neice Kiara, was in this episode so we saw her and also Bailee Madison was in this episode so we got to see her too.
the dad from Good Luck Charlie was also on set for awhile.....im not sure why...but he was lol
by the way they canceled the normal audience taping because this was a kind of revealing episode so we got in on a private taping so thats why we got to do all the cool things like get a tour of the set and stuff
right so after they shot that scene the creator of the show Todd Greenwald came over to hang out with us...first he showed us a clip of the original pilot of the show...and by original i mean back when the show wasnt called wizards of waverly place.....back when the characters owned a magic shop...it was a clip of the first time Selena and David acted as brother and sister...Brandon Smith from SWAC was also in the clip
next he said he was going to play the new version of the song for the opening credits...while it was loading he showed us some of his personal pictures of him and the cast that he had on his laptop....by the way the new version is awesome!!! i cant wait for you guys to hear it!
oh and theres like this gag that they have on set where the crew likes to go "Dear Diary....." and then state something that just happend...usually when something goes wrong or something funny happens...they did that throughout the taping lol at one point Selena was like "im going to take your diary and like" then she made a frustrated face and kinda made a hmpf sound lol it was funny
ok so after they shot some more scenes it was time for luch....which was when we got a tour of the set.....WARNING here comes a bunch of pictures :D
they had just filmed a scene that was out in the ally so they had to make the sub shop look like it had a fourth wall so thats why its closed...later in the post i have pictures from the inside so you can see what that looks like
they were building this set on the swing set stage...this set is going to be used in next weeks episode....anyways the swing set stage is where they build sets that they take down...like the bedrooms and any other set you see in the episodes that arent the main sets
so yeah ok now back to the school which was directly across from the swing set stage
ok so now some of the pictures have me in them...im just saying cuz some of you might be like who the heck is that person lol
bit of info here the stairs actually have a blue carpet on them...idk about you but i always thought it was hard floor just painted blue...but no lol its carpet
idk about you but i was always curious as to what they had to do when they pretended to go downstairs....so what they do is whenever they "go downstairs" they have to crouch in this little space until the scene is over
ok so this is some doodling David Henrie did while shooting scenes in the lair...if you cant tell the block letters say wizards of waverly place....i was actually able to keep this...which is pretty awesome lol

ok so after the set we went to the lunch that was being served on set....which was cool cuz we got to eat what the cast and crew ate....lol
after lunch we were heading back to the set when we realized we were passing the casts cars....so being the stalkerish fans we are we decided to take some pictures lol
so this is David Henries new bike....idk if you can tell or not but the right mirror is broken...he said that Lorenzo broke it and that hes waiting for him to pay for it so he can get it fixed
i just decided to take a picture of what was hanging from the mirror in Selena's car...cuz i thought the dangaling thing was cool looking lol
after lunch our buddy Frank (who i mentioned at the begining of the post) whos been haning out with us the whole time might i add, went and got David Henrie so we could formally meet him....we had already kinda met him before when he came up and shook our hands earlier in the taping
ok first of all fsldfkjsldkjlskdjflsdf his arm was on my leg and the entire sides of our bodies were touching sflsdkjlfjdsk and we stayed like that for a good two minutes becuase everyone got the picture taken with their own camera....and yes i was totally fangirling out on the inside
after the picture he sat on the table and showed us his two tattoos that he has on his arms...and might i add while he was talking to us he kept making eye contact with me and we held eye contact untill he looked away...so again sdlfjsldfjlsdkfjlsjdfskldjfl :D
next he signed our stuff and then he had to go change for his next scene so we went back to our seats in the audience...which was when we met....
David Deluise! who is awesome!! and he is really sweet too and he has lost a lot of weight! we actually met him a couple of times throughout the taping lol but this was the formal meet where he signed our things and took pictures
Next Todd came over to us again and this time he had the new opening credits for Season 4 to show us....we were the first people to see it he told us....and by first i mean the cast hadent even seen it yet!! im not going to tell you what it looks like but i hope you guys like it...i know i did!
Let me just say now that neither Dan or Gregg are in the opening credits so they havent been added to the main cast
the next scene they shot was in the school so we got to see Bill Chott who plays Mr. Laritate....Jennifer Stone was also in this scene so we got to see her...and by the way her hair is even more red and bright in person....we didnt get to meet her however =(
but we did get to meet...
Maria!!! and again we breifly met her before but this was more formal...we also met her husband and her children because they were also there
ok here come the most epic thing ever...as she was signing our stuff she was talking about David Henrie and how he is such a sweet boy and how amazing he is and then out of the blue she says how she thinks Selena and him should be together! ljslfsldkfjsldjslkfj as many of you know i am a huge Delena shipper so to hear her say that, someone who works with them week after week and sees the chemistry between them, plastered a huge ass smile on my face...so of course i told her i thought so too and that many other people also think they should be together...she smiled and looked at me and the other people around us and then realizing what she just said she quickly added that it was none of her buisness though....but she still had a huge smile on her face while saying that....so basically Maria is a Delena shipper :D
the next scene they shot was the Jalex scene....and im calling it the Jalex scene because this scene will have all the Jalex fans going nuts on fanfiction and on youtube and other placeses....just think of it as the next campfire scene or the next scene that was like the end of Wizards vs. Werewolfs....if you remember the reaction those two scenes had on the fans.....
another thing was that someone on the crew actually yelled out "campfire scene" after they filmed this shot....so im pretty sure they know about the whole Jalex stuff
now what was also epic about this scene was the Delena aspect of it....David and Selena both gave inputs to the director and ended up changing the blocking for the scene....David sugested that he end up on the table next to Selena, which means that when they are talking to eachother their faces are inches away....and then Selena was the one that sugested that Alex put her head on Justins shoulder and that he lean his head onto hers....and that is also part of the reason the Jalex fans are going to go nuts....not to mention there is a long hug in this scene too <3

i got a hug and everything! lol she was really sweet and she signed our stuff

this was an amazing day! i cant wait to watch the episode to see what part of each take they use lol
i also ended up being able to keep one of the scrips of the hour long special.....i havent read it yet though lol
so yeah that was my wonderfull day on set lol we ended up leaving at six when the producers asked us to leave so we were there for a total of six hours which was amazing!
ill try to asnwer most of you quetions but remember that im not alowed to tell you somethings
also and interesting tidbit is that the huge spell book in the lair is actually an old bible!
