I didn't think this needed softening at all! I think it was lovely with all its edges - just like Ianto and Jack. I would love to see the circle come to a close with some kind of reciprocation of the mirror message from Jack as was hinted at in Jack's POV. :)

Hmm, funnily enough, I did write that scene with Jack coming out the shower after seeing the message Ianto wrote, but for some reason it never made it to the final cut (much like most of the stuff I write). I'll probably take you up on your circle-closing fic since any excuse to write/procrastinate/not work is welcomed and a couple of ideas have just springed up. Thanks for the review! :)
