Another great update - hilarious to find Owen in bed with Jack...ha ha !!

My only twinge, not sure I think Jack would have crawled into bed naked with the baby in the bed too, even if it were Ianto. I think he would have left boxers on at least.

Domestics don't always appeal to me but this one is just darned wonderful. Nice update. I think this is the best AU I've read in a long time.

I agree Owen and Ianto's bodies are completely different since Owen is kinda "wiry" and Ianto is more built.

The goal was to get Jack and Owen into bed. My first option was to have Jack return home extremely tired after a very long day at work and practically pass out in the bed, but as I wanted to keep it close to canon, and include the fact that he doesn’t sleep, that made this option impossible.

My second choice was to have Jack come home drunk, but I felt this would be slightly OC, as we never see Jack drinking/drunk except in flashbacks or a couple of rounds in the pub and in this AU, I don’t think he would have done that to Ianto, who was (supposed to be) looking after the baby.

So, this left me with writer’s licence/stretch of the imagination, which I decided to use as this fic is a romance/humour and I want to keep it light.

I try to keep my fics (and writing) believable so I apologise if it seems like a highly situation and I hope it hasn’t put you off the rest of the fic.
