Canada's main crime is not being any warmer than Germany!

I'm sick of running around with a long-term low-grade cold and snot running down my face.

In terms of politics however, Canada is now approaching the stupidity level of Germany.

I keep quietly hoping that Canada will annex Minnesota. It would be great. I wouldn't even have to move, or find a new job, or anything. Let Quebec split, and annex Minnesota instead! C'mon, Canada! We will welcome you with open arms and a hotdish!

I'm all in favour of parts of Amacria getting annexed. My country got annexed in 1990 and both sides still haven't recovered from that :-P

I think I'm gonna do it. If it's really too tough then I can still save out (up until two weeks before the date) and do Nordic Walking instead, which would be a shorter distance.

Well it is 35 degrees celsius here...I think that is in the 90 farenheit wise. All I know is I am hanging out for winter!

40-45 degrees more than we have now!

It's difficult to determine which is worse! I do remember how I moaned when it got hot here last May, and my rationale then was, at least you can warm up by moving around -- but you can't cool down by doing nothing. However, I never wanted summer to end, whereas I can't remember a single winter I didn't get fed up with rather... immediately :-D People (including me) get so grumpy when it's cold and dark.

I was freezing my feet (not my ass) off standing on the ice and taking pictures of all the interesting stuff underneath it. It's quite fascinating what one huge puddle on a lawn in the backyard can turn into in winter.
