Well the time has come to retire laptop!Julian. He's been running slow lately and taking forever to start up and I've just about used up all my hard drive space. I was hoping to hold out till next year for the new laptop but he just wasn't going to make it another 3 months without my tossing him out the window in aggravation. Ooh...I want to get a new laptop in six months or so. The Sony Vaio is my first choice. I'll have to bug you occasionally and see how you like it.

Wasn't it beautiful out today? I'm in the suburbs now, but it was like 55 degrees out. I want winter to stay away...

So far I love it. I got the 15" wide screen. I miss the shortcut keys my other laptop had but I'm surviving without them. haven't found anything I really dislike about it yet - but its only been a few weeks. the mousepad was a little annoying at first - but a few quick tweeks of the settings and I'm happy. I'll let you know if anything bad comes up.

Warm schmarm. I'm excited it's been in the 70s for nearly a week now! As for your deep freeze in January, you think your airline could pack up a few buckets so that I have some cute "winter wonderland" photos for the wedding?

Bite me. When I said "warm" I meant we're supposed to get into the high 50's to low 60's.

And no, I will not pack up a few buckets of deep freeze and bring them with me in January. I'm trying to get away from the cold! Wierdo.

I probably shouldn't mention that everyone here is thrilled because it's gone down to the lower to mid 80s, should I? Didn't think so. :-P

The laptop sounds awesome, though. I'm jealous of all that hard drive space.

I wish it would get into the lower 80's here...but that won't happen for another 9 months.

Loving the new laptop so far. The HD space is awsome and I look forward to trying to fill it up ;)

Pretty sure its a boy (all my puters seem to have been male). Haven't decided on a name yet. Any suggestions?
