actually, it's called the 'L'. xP

society also tends to write "your" when they mean "you're", so I'm not all too keen on what society thinks.

hahah yet, that still came from the "El" you phonetic junkie

oh well. garage nomenclature the cable tie is still referred to a zip tie. so i'm sticking with it.

i'll order parts by their proper name. and that includes said nylon engineering marvel being called out as a cable tie in mcmaster-carr and grainger, but they are still zip ties...ask for a cable tie in most places, they won't know what you're looking for.

it's not like the difference between pipe and tube fittings where a "90" will give you two different part or a coupling is different from a union which is similar to a nipple.
