Ugh. Well Nolan has been a steady disappointment to me for going on four years, I don't know why this would be any different. See also: his complete failure with female characters + anne hathaway (???) as catwoman.*

This movie will be a box office smash.

*i like anne hathaway a lot but I'm certain nolan will wreck catwoman and hathaway will take the blame.

And I really agree on that point. I love her (though don't think she's best for the role), but if there's a problem with the character, it's always going to be the actress that gets blamed. (I think the Catwoman movie had problems outside of Halle Berry, but she seems to get most of the blame heaped on her too.)

Selina Kyle/Catwoman is Latina as well, which is something I wasn't aware of before researching the casting decision.
