That's really cool! It's a bit of a shame that pain isn't located on the bottom half... ;)

In an education seminar, we just read something on the ignorance -[incongruity]-> recognition/insight loop, where the recognition of incongruity is most automatic and most motivating for people with underlying interest or emotional involvement. I can't find quite the same book chapter as in the reader, but here's another by the same author, Giyoo Hatano.

Heh. Well, that's the point of "ideals hit reality". That's always painful, but it's a good pain. ^_^
