Let's see.. Scar? Check. Eyebrows... Wait, Zuko has eyebrows?

I'm starting to think that the only positive points this movie has is the fact that James Newton Howard is going to compose its score. YAY.

The Awful Truth: I'm diggin' ZukoDev Patel's armor (is it just me, or are there faux!fur lining it). It looks pretty awesome. Well, compared it to Aan ( Read more... )

...that's a pretty lame-ass scar, especially compared to the horror that was Zuko's face in canon.

*nods* I'm sure the make-up crew can do something about that (I mean, they do wonders in other films) and yes, the scar is a dissapointment.

He does look good. But it's reeeaaallyy hard to see him as Zuko. But yes, Dev + The Armor = HOT. BUT STILL, NOT ZUKO!

*conflicted*

I'm just hoping that he'll do a decent job interpreting Zuko. I don't really hope for a identical-to-animated!Zuko, since that feat would be absolutely hard to achieve- at least I want him to give an intense performance that can be enjoyed :)

Lame it's an invisible scar. Hopefully it's made darker or something to make it look better since it's such a big part of Zuko.

Hmm I wonder if it would be same BS if Zuko was still played by Jesse.

Zuko without his scar is like Harry Potter without his. Or, Spock without his ears. Also, like Aang without his arrows. It's an integral part of the show that I'm hoping the producers/director would focus on.

I barely noticed the scar when I saw this before on another friend's journal. Zuko looks more like season 3 Zuko than season 1 Zuko. They're not doing a good job on being true to the movie. But I hope it'll still be good.

I don't mind the hairdo and the clothes as much as I do mind THE SCAR. YOU FUCKED THAT UP AND IT'S BEGONES FOR YOU, Movie crews.

I've accepted that fact long ago xD It's the only thing I am looking forward to hearing from that movie =_=

His scores are absolutely marvelous. Hanz Zimmer, Danny Elfman and him are my favorite movie scores' composers.

I love them too <3 I really liked the score he did for the Lady in the Water.

The Dark Knight. AND Batman Begins. I know, technically he did it with Hanz Zimmer but those scores are BRILLIANT (and I have all tracks of both in my PC :))
