I'm still WUT??? @ THE HOLOGRAM! I MEAN FOR REAL! THIS IS AMAZING!
I feel bad for McCain because I have always liked him up until the election. He lost his "maverick" edge but giving in listening to the Republican Party as a whole. They fucked that man and his running mate was joke. I hope his legacy will be everything he has did for this country and not this election.
YES... I want an RPattz hologram. That's creepy, but whatevs!
Exactly... McCain pre-2004 was so cool, I used to love when he'd do interviews on Letterman or the Daily Show because he was just awesome and he stood out as someone who went for what he believed in instead of going with the flow. I felt genuine sadness for him when he conceded, particularly when he made a statement about taking the blame for failure on himself. Honorable, but I don't think it's fair at all... You saw the people at his rallies yelling "Kill him!" all that was missing were pitchforks and torches. Hell, they still boo-ed when McCain was making gracious statements about Obama's win. I know it sucks to lose, been there/done that in the last 2, but booing then didn't accomplish anything but embarrass John McCain.
And I won't get started on Palin, because it wouldn't be pretty and really there's no point now.
McCain's speech was pretty classy (though some of his supporters, not so much). I'm saddened by the way he ran his campaign. Even though I didn't agree w/him on a lot of issues I used to really respect him. Now I don't know if I'll be able to again.
