My very wonderful home state is incredibly close to legalizing same-sex marriage. All we need is for our governor to NOT veto the bill, and then we're in the clear. This is all happening so fast, I love it.

YESSS! meanwhile, north of the border, we are looking at ways to undermine the supreme court on the issue.

after years of looking on in horror at what the american administration is up to, now I'd take your politics over ours any day.

Supreme Court is looking about overriding prop 8 soon. I'm assuming the more states that clear the way for gay marriage, the higher the likelyhood of California getting their rights back.

In the next ten years, I'll bet all states but Kentucky and Texas will legalize gay marriage.
