That was TOTALLY AWESOME!

I loved the other creature who were kept, and your ability to flesh out all of the bit players (like Ben and the bouncer), and Juliette's cameo was pitch perfect.

But the part that broke me to pieces was the two of them sitting on the couch. And then the breakfast scene broke me into smaller pieces.

You are so gooooooood!

Aw, thanks. And I fit in some food kink for ya, even if the boys didn't eat their breakfast.

This was great!

I love Father Ben, and all of the interaction between Nick and Wolf-Monroe. And Monroe in the aftermath of a kill is a story point that's been rattling around in my brain for a while, so I really like that you went there.

Good stuff!

Thanks so much! I had this whole Monroe-forced-to-be-bad thing rolling around in my brain too. I'm glad you liked it.

This was such a lovely read. I loved the reveal at the end that Father Ben was a Grimm. I'd really like to see more in this verse.

Also, did I catch that right and Renard put him on that case because it had to deal with Grimm creatures and he wanted Nick to clean up his town? Nick is so going to be Renard's new enforcer.

On Renard: Maybe, maybe... I do hope he turns out to be a good guy, but I suppose we shall see.

This is just wonderful.
Sad, yeah, because poor Monroe as well as the other creatures. I'm with Nick, I hope the other blutbaden took out the guards without any more losses to their own.
But the affection and care between Nick and Monroe was so true and so strong, that I was sure that everything would work out.
I also loved Father Ben, the reformed Grimm. Would love to see more of him.

Oh, very well done! I'm impressed by how you managed to pack a complex plot into such a smoothly written tale, without ever having the dreaded "info dumps" or exposition fairy come by.

I really, really love how you paint characters--from Lonnie to Trixie, you manage to give them life with just a few words. So amazing. ♥

I very much enjoyed this!
