I don't know. It's not even my favorite TMBG tune

And I am very interested now in TMBG...will have to go find that song on iTunes tonight.
And you are, sadly, younger than I am.

You are familiar with Jonathan Coulton? He did a song on Benoit Mandelbrot (the mathematician). Less whimsical and far more edgy is Chumbawamba, who never should be judged on Tubthumping...but they have a similar sort of sensibility.

I am lucky in that, due to exceptional genetics, I look about 10 years younger. We'll see how that works into my dotage...

I know *of* TMBG, I know a few of their songs, and I know people who really like them. I guess my musical tastes at the time were a little more mainstream, although Robyn Hitchcock and Living Colour both played at my college and I got into both of those bands for various periods of time. Interestingly (hi to Elr if she sees this), it was a college friend who turned me on to Oysterband.
Anyway, I didn't have much of substance to add to the Name Meme, I just found the conversation interesting.

Yay NJ! I lived in the Princeton area for 15 years after college and I miss my home state.
I think I can guess at the origin of your screen name :/ How long have you had it? What do you teach? How can we fit it into a WC story? o_O

I was born in New Brunswick (at St. Peters, which is apparently "the baby hospital"), but we moved to PA when I was 3 or 4. I actually also lived in the Princeton area, for 5 or 6 years after I finished graduate school. Huh.
My screen name...yeah, you have the clues now.... I discovered "fandom" when I was a PhD student (the fandom was Highlander, btw), and about 6 years ago I had a temporary position teaching at a small college and finally decided I should have separate "work" and "personal" email, etc. The "doctor" is for my doctorate, and the "fangeek" is for, well, being a fangeek. :-)
I teach biology (molecular biology, genetics, and a few other things), so I'm not sure how we can fit that in. More power to you if you come up with something!
