If I had to pick one (okay it's a series but a small one) it would be Soldier Boys. It is the rare pairs of rare pairs. It was a challenge and it really could have just been crack!fic but I went for what I hoped was emotional honesty. There are bits in it where I make myself cry.

Someplace Safe and Rescue Me come in second and third.

You know, I think the Wonder(ful) Years is my new favorite of yours as well. But see, you didn't tell me WHY...which is half the fun!

This is so hard, but perhaps inspired by pretty-Matty-on-a-boat I'm picking a SPN RPS story of mine, The Ones That Can Swallow You Whole. It's an AU, basically just a romance story, but it completely took over my brain when I wrote it (16k in about 3 days) and I feel like I somewhat accomplished that I wanted to do, which had something to do with the ways people move on from trauma with a side-helping of the way scars can be beautiful.

Okay so now I am going to cheat - since I already picked for WC The Life Series for elrhiarhodan. I get to pick something else for you ... that is difficult. I go back and forth with this one but I am going to pick one that I think I wrote well which would be The Secret of Past Lives

For Stargate SG1 it would be the same that I posted - The Beggar’s Feast - you can actually read it independently of knowing that much about the fandom (I think) - you just have to know what the heck the Stargate is and that's about it.
