OMG the poor, poor babies!! I am scarred for life now, for life, I tell you!

But in sort of a good way. Love the ending - and I enjoyed the demon taunting his exorcists, and the ending of course is beautifully heartbreaking.

Okay, pass the tissues...

The whole scene in the hospital, when Monroe is trying to coax Nick out of his catatonic state, is an incredible piece of writing - powerful, poignant, and painful in that 'rips the emotions raw' sort of way. The dialog Monroe says, the way he quietly pleads, is just so... (time for another tissue).

First of all: OWWW! This hurt to read at times, but in totally good ways. *hugs the boys so hard* I love the detail in Monroe's image of Nick being with that waitress. And Nick making him pancakes for his half-birthday. That's so sweet.

Don't worry about fudging the exorcism. I'm doing worse for the magic in my epic (it has witches, one of which wreaks havoc). Most of the time, I'm making it up while basing myself on Magic in the Middle Ages, which suggests that people back then were also fudging traditions a lot of the time. So I think we're safe.

Thanks! Yeah, I couldn't be bothered to figure out the real details of an exorcism... the text went on for PAGES online, single spaced, and all about the preparation and the worthiness of the priest and YIKES! So I just made it up. If doing that's good enough for SPN, it's good enough for me!
