ok first of all I KNEW IT. hahahah i had a hunch they were key's memories, the figure who minho dreamt of first was his mother, and then the crowd who abused him, kids at school? kjfgnsldgkhsd. i loved it <3 only why did Minho dream of Key's memories...

Yet, Minho doesn’t pull back. He watches until the transformation finishes, and carefully reaches out to touch. The nails are rough underneath his fingertips as he traces the shape, surprised at how his hands aren’t shaking. this is so intimate ;a; fghkjdlsa. i love it.

The only sign he was ever there is the blanket on the floor right next to the window, the place he used to occupy more often than not

haha I guessed you had it all figured out XD idk if I can give you a long explanation on why Minho dreamed of the memories, but it has to do with what Kibum is and the close contact they have, kind of an emotional bleed-through.

when Kibum said that Minho's dreams are actually memories, my thought was that Minho is just like Kibum but he forgot about it. that's the second mysterious thing here for me. the first one, of course, is Kibum himself. what is he? where did he come from? why did he protect Minho at the start of the story? - i feel like this is only a few pieces of a puzzle put together. the puzzle still has other parts that has not yet fallen into place.

(*sigh*) but i love the happy ending. the simpleness of their need for each other. nnnngh... thank you for writing this and sharing it with us.

I'm sorry if it feels unfinished. this is how it had to be though, otherwise it would've turned out into a massive verse that I would've never finished at all XD it's more like a snippet, from a larger thing, I suppose.

the way I thought it, they weren't really Minho's memories, but bleed-through from Kibum, but you can choose to interpret it as you wish :) and at the start he didn't really protect Minho, he protected himself and protecting Minho just happened at the same time :) hope that clears it up! what he is, though, and where did he come from, those I can't answer.
