I just had to save something. In my canon, she was out flying when the hub blew up Jack tracked her with gear in the SUV, which he recovered, and brought her somewhere she would be looked after and could fly free.

She's flying free over Wales, catching the occasional sheep and getting spoiled with gourmet chocolate. That's my canon and I'm sticking to it.
