I don't know what it is about McDonald's these days, for me. Lately, as in the past decade or so, I simply can't eat anything from there, aside from maybe the most basic of cheeseburgers (plain with only ketchup) and fries, without feeling cruddy and weird for most of the rest of the day. One day, a few years ago, I chose to go there for lunch and got one of those 20-piece McNugget meals. Let's just say that I chose... poorly. I used to eat at McDonald's all the time as a kid and it never bothered me, so not sure what has changed, whether it was me or them or a little of both. At yet, places like Jack in the Box or Wendy's or Burger King or Dairy Queen don't mess me up in the same way, for whatever reason.
