Hehe, "classic style". I like that. I was leaning more towards "derivative copycatting of previous successes". LOL, so I'm super glad it's a style rather than how I feared it would come off (especially on the tail of Echoes).

Aaaah. I got here via skinsfans (though I've been following your Tumblr for ages) - this fic is perfection. I was actually crying all through Part 6! Your voices are so, so spot-on; I could hear Naomi's Part 6 monologue in Lily's crying-voice, you know. And you do party scenes so well! It's weird to see such an impeccable depiction of what parties (shit or not) are like conveyed through text, but you write them wonderfully. Thank you so much for this piece of marvelousness! (And I adored the cameos from everyone, especially the Rich/Grace scene.)

OMG, thank you so, so much! I'm so ridiculously relieved that you found the voices true cos that's what terrifies me most -- screw that up, especially in something like Skins and a character-driven story, and the whole thing crumbles, imo. And yes! That's exactly the voice of Lily's I was drawing from too. :) I agree parties can be difficult to write (especially in a realistic way) but I'm glad I could pull it off well enough... gotta give props to personal experience of profoundly shitty parties here, haha. I really wanted to do more with the Gen3 crew but flow and time just wouldn't allow but I'm happy you enjoyed them as complimenting/contrasting cameos. :) Just thank you so, so much for your review. I appreciate it MAJORLY! :D x
