*i kinda don't like the word "crackship" for pairings like effy/michelle or naomi/michelle or cook/katie or ones that aren't really that ~outrageous or "cracky" at all, unlike let's say franky's gay dad/cassie or something, haha.

I pretty much went on a reading bender throughout the course of this afternoon. This story is one of the best things I've read in a while. The characterization was absolutely stunning across the board.
This is going to sound bizarre, but this is one of those stories where not only did I enjoy reading it, but I feel different after completing it. It was THAT amazing.
Thanks for sharing.
PS I think you may have a new N/M convert.

Thank you so, so much.

OMG. Those are my absolute fav to read and I find them so rarely so the fact this did that to you, I just... I'm shocked, tbh (in a good way!). Never expected that. It's like the biggest compliment ever. :D
And YES! new N/M converts are ALWAYS welcomed with open arms :D Thank you so much again. xx

First. There's something about Michelle/Naomi that inherently works (in a way even Naomi/Emily doesn't for me, at least in the long term). I mean, this has a LOT to do with the way you write them, because I think you understand their motivations well enough to make them work in just about any pairing (and I think that's the mark of a good writer, being able to take an unlikely pairing and have it make complete sense for the characters). But I also think they're just really well suited to each other, like, Michelle wants to be loved, but I also think Naomi wants someone TO love, and I think that's an interesting contrast - that Michelle feels so insecure about being loved, but Naomi feels unworthy of loving. And the way you addressed that was just, beautifully done ( ... )
