I got into Digital Scrapbooks when I saw the digital_crop community on the LJ spotlight. It's fun, but I don't think it's really for me. The free stuff that's available is a little gay and I would have to spend money to buy anything that I actually liked. Money that I'd rather spend on other crafts, like crochet or soap making

awww, super cute! but yeh, i can see how it's definitely not the same as real scrapbooking. it's kind of how i feel about digital prints vs. actually using a dark room to print your own photographs. the lack of authenticity bugs me, but sometimes its a good replacement yanno?
