I bumped up the Vet appointment because I felt the sooner the better was in order. I don't really want to type everything, but..... Roger is no longer with us. They took x-rays, and saw that his lungs looked like they had fluid in them, which they wanted to do tests on, so they extracted some from one side, and then were about to move to the next ( Read more... )

I am really sorry, David. A sudden loss indeed. There are no words that will make it better -- all I can say is you have my upmost sympathies, and perhaps it is best that Roger passed quickly, and sooner rather than later.

Do bear in mind that a diagnosis of FIV or FLV do not necessarily mean that your cats will die--there is a lot you can do.

Oh god. D: I'm so sorry. It's really a good thing you pay attention to your cats like you do, and care enough to spend the money to take them to the vet. Your concern kept him from suffering until whenever his body finally gave out.
