For someone who says they aren't good at writing romance...
The unconventional twist to the prompt was brilliant. The (budding) romance was done very well, in my humble opinion. I loved it! I smiled throughout the whole last half and was grinning like an idiot at those last few paragraphs.
My only bone to pick is very minor. As a fencer, I think the choice of Link fighting sabre style suits him well. However, I don't know that Link would be carrying his sabre on his back without it being in a carrying bag of some sort. Of course, I may be wrong, and it was in a bag, but that was just a small bit I noticed.

Okay, out of daze. There was a joyful smile of my face the whole time, but I had to pause and lol at "Why do the gods do this to me?" His reaction feels So romantically canon!
I had never read RL!modern Zelda fic before. Well, I was really not dissapointed. :)
