So today is FMA day, wherein the fandom celebrates Ed and Al burning down their house and acting way too old for their ages... which is an admittedly weird thing to celebrate, but hey, any excuse, right?

Super late comment here, but this was such a sweet and sad story. I'm a sucker for little Ed and Al, and I think you did a really great job showing their childhood and how grown-up Ed was even then. The scene with Hoho was cute, too, since you never get to see Ed being close with his dad in the series, but there had to have been a time when he wanted his affection.

Rambly, inarticulate comment aside, I really enjoy your fic! I hope you don't mind me adding you?

Thanks very much! I'm also rather fond of baby Elrics (as you could no doubt tell!), so I'm glad you thought I wrote them well. And no worries about the lateness; I've half a dozen or more tabs open right now with things I owe comments on, so I completely understand. ^_^

Wow, that was so spot on. Also loved how you built everything up on both Trisha & Hoho's lessons. Brilliant! And rather sad with some fun added in too. (lil Ed's idea of an adult = ♥)

Thanks very much! It's funny how a bit of stream-of-consciousness writing can eventually coalesce into a story. :) (And you know baby!Ed's goal in life was to be tall as his daddy. ;)
