Yeah, it's fun despite that everyone is [good-naturedly] making fun of it. Hee hee. And it has the additional plus of being an unusual instrument.

You should! I often forget how much fun it is to play an instrument. I played percussion for many years, and I really miss it sometimes. :-]

Nah, it's okay. I think it's funny. And it does sound like an odd drone instead of a typical didj, I think. I recorded a little of myself early last week, but I couldn't make many sounds, so it sounded boring to me. I might try it again when the linseed oil dries and see how it sounds now.
