After wanting to seriously kill Aladdin for the last two weeks, I find that now I have stopped writing I have a serious surfeit of creativity. Damnit!

I need a new project. Something joyous to keep me amused of an evening. Ideas on a postcard. Otherwise I will be tempted to write a spoof of that book meme.

My favourite line from that is (AFAICT) only in the Buddy Greco version: "I crave affection, baby, but not when I drive".

That would be an absolutely delightful running gag, actually.

Though of course Comedy and Cake 2008 is by no means definite, I have had some small visions of a sketch show next spring....

Ah, how is Birdshot coming along? I wasn't sure what state it was in...

It's back-burnered at the moment - I've had some ideas for it, which I need to write down before I forget them :-) Specifically, I need to rewrite bits to use arifirh's idea of the Plot Device as the doomsday weapon ("Get a grip on yourself, man! There is no plot!").
