I got Toy Story and then got distracted by something else.

How are things going for you? I haven't seen any daily posts (on purpose? I cna't remember what your internet access was like?) but i hope things are still going swimmingly for you.

Toy Story is the first one I got too! (I started listing them later on)

Things are...good. I haven't been doing my daily journals, which I SHOULD, even if writing them down hard copy. And I know I've let myself slide some while I'm not. Okay, that's it. I'm going to keep a hardcopy log and make a weekly intake post. I can handle that for sure. - Thanks for encouraging me!

I couldn't think of much, but did get these:
Boomerang
Castle in the Sky
and Titanic?

Boomerang - that's one of the ones I was going to look up and see if it happened to be a movie title, since I'd never heard of it. (Like 'Layer Cake')

Castle in the Sky
So that IS a real movie? I thought maybe my brain was trying to trick me again.

And, yeah, I guess it has to be Titanic. I mean, some of them are pretty obvious, but I was kinda afraid to just guess it.

73. Black Dog??

That's the Patrick Swayze trucker movie.

75. Layer Cake??

Recent noirish flick starring the new James Bond and directed by the guy who was attached to MI:III before J.J.

24. Thirteen Monkeys

The movie is 12 Monkeys.

You've got so many. Every one I notice, you already have! Some of them are amusing.

The movie is 12 Monkeys.
Ah, yes it is. I've never seen it. When I was making my list, I was all "Oh! The one with the monkeys! How many was that? Well, I'll count" - and clearly, I miscounted.

I've actually only seen MAYBE 10-12 films on this list. At least, all the way from beginning to end. And bits and pieces of only about 10-15 more.

They are funny, aren't they? What's been especially amusing for me is the way I'll stare at it and get nothing and then HOURS later be sitting somewhere and suddenly think "'USA' spraypainted on a wall = American Graffiti!"

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
THAT's what it is!!! I knew the dragon was the one from Pete's Dragon, but I couldn't imagine they just expected you to know that. Thanks!

Layer Cake is a movie apparently.
I know! Who knew? (Well, besides Polter-Cow)

Mighty Aphrodite?
Oooo! I bet it is!

12 Monkeys (not 13)
Yes, see, I never actually SAW the movie myself, and so I counted the actual monkeys in the picture and obviously counted wrong.

Dark Star
Hmm. Never heard of that one either.

Cold Mountain
A-HA! I was TRYING to place that one! I was all, "No, I'm sure 'Smoke On the Mountain Top' is an actual movie title, I remember"

Then again, I only figured out 'Dune' this morning - and felt like an idiot for it taking so long.

Anchorman
Yes! Another one my mind kept trying to retrofit a film for "'Holding Anchor'? Yeah, you know, that one starred...."

21 Grams
Okay, I KNEW there was a 21 pounds/kilos/ounces/SOMETHING movie, but once again, I have not seen it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are helping restore my sanity!!!

No problem. You certainly got a lot of them. To be honest, my husband helped a lot with these answers. He does the MIT Mystery Hunt every year which is very good practice for this sort of puzzle.

We used to get GAMES magazine, and although a lot of the stuff was WAY over my head, I always loved these kinds of things.

My friend thought the crow/barbed wire thing was something like, "Crow on a Barbed Wire". She really thought it was a movie. I have no idea.
