So, they've changed the layout of the "edit profile" / "manage personal information" page - and now I guess I can't change my journal title or friends' page heading?

At least, I can't see where - can anybody else do it?

Yes, but that edit page no longer has a space to enter or change your journal title/subtitle/friends page.
