Yikes. You better make some appointments. Oh, and I love my camera and my b-i-l assures me that it was a steal for it's components. (as long as you get a bigger memory card.) Canon PowerShot A400 (on sale last Xmas for like $120 maybe?)

Oh, the doctors' appointments and dance lesson are already scheduled. I was planning on going to the mall tonight (I have some really good discount coupons that are for this weekend only and I'd rather avoid the Saturday crowds) and I'll get my ears pierced then. I had them pierced years ago for a while, but I had cheap studs and my lobes kept getting irritated.)

My family's camera is a Canon PowerShot A95, which I think is just another version of yours. It's fabulous, takes magazine-quality photos - even of sky and scenery, which is hard. It's about $360, but I have the money and I think it's worth it.

Oh, and get your ears pierced this weekend so they can heal before you go, or you'll need to lug disinfectant and it'll be a pain.

All the women in my family have VERY sensitive ears. My dad's mom can't even wear pierced earrings - she has about 475 pairs of clip-ons, though! My mom's mom has to have at least 14k gold studs to prevent infection.

I would try to find "European-style" dress shoes. Their bottoms are better. Not that I know if that's feasible, but I would try anyway. I bought a ton of dress shoes before I went to Prague, and they were basically unwearable-or at least unwearable for walking. I ended up buying a pair while I was there (and I would've bought more, but they were very pricey). I just looked at them and the brand name is Gabor. They make nice stuff.

See, that is what I'm worried about - the walking. I mena, we're going to be traveling in the mountains! But everybody else seems to be very unconcerned - I even heard two of the girls discussing taking flip-flops and/or sandels for easy on/off. (Which, granted, is also important, since many restarurants and shops require shoes to be taken off at the door) BUT, we're going to be walking in the mountains, in December - FLIP-FLOPS???

Oh, and thanks for the shoe advice.

Yes, and I'm starting to kind of freak when I think about how much is left to do, or even start, but it's not like I'm leaving in a week, I've still got time, I just need to get moving on it.

Yes, I'm sure it is possible. However, it sure freaked me out to realize I had to go back and merge two, three, four items at a time, to keep it less than 29.
