Anyway, the rest is behind the cut.

Dude, that first shirt doesn't really sound apprpriate for work, especially in a foreign country.

Second, you've been posting about being beat/tired a lot lately. Maybe you're pushing too hard? An extra hour of sleep maybe? Skipping a work-out if you're truly exhausted isn't bad. It helps prevent burnout.

Also, I can't believe you're 5'10". You lucky bitch. All these tall women on the boards. Damn jealous.

Well, it's more for when we go to dinners and other gatherings. Not for making presentations in. And they'll be wearing black turtlenecks underneath for the warmth. But yeah, glad it didn't work out for me ( ... )

"Honey, for most of them, 'cute' is ALL they can do." She'd also say. "They're Meg Ryan. We can be Meryl Streep, Princess Diana, Katherine Hepburn."

I might hate your mom. Not really, but ouch! True, but ouch.
I shall think of teenytiny smouldering Eva Longoria.

Oh, she's not being rude to smaller people. That's a "pep-talk-to-uncomfortable/unhappy-14/18/etc-year-old-daughter" kind of comment.

And short and/or small can totally be hot! It's just that 6' can NOT be cute. At all.

Oh, and there are times it's hard not to hate my mom - at least a teeny bit - when it comes to figure/appearance. For years she's had to shop men's pants for casual trousers because to get the length she needs, women's pants are too baggy in the rear and hips.

Of course now that she's back into an 8 (at 54! with 5 children!, 3 after 39, 1 at 44!) that's not as much of a problem.

Thanks.

I'm going to try to really buckle down this next week or two (in between our conferences!) to see if I can't make significant progress by our next meeting three weeks from now.

The toning place has cards of inches members have lost and quite a few dropped 5-8 inches in their first ten sessions. Some even more. And 11-13+ in the first month was not uncommon. (with daily sessions)

So, we'll see.

Thanks!

New clothes are fun, especially when they're SMALLER!

(I'm kind of almost excited about going shopping for the rest of the stuff now.)

Just wanted to say congratulations again! But matching outfits? Really?

Heh. Yes. Many previous teams have actually MADE matching shirts or jackets with the Rotary logo to wear.

We're just going with same shirt, black pants, or even same color/same style top.
