It really was fun. My immediate family sings a lot, (not always gathered around the piano together, of course!) - but for my uncle and grandpa to join in was unexpected.

I only wish I had a better singing voice. I love it so much.

(Things members of our family have sung in the last few days include - "Nessun Dorma," "My Way," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "I Like to Eat (Apples and Bananas)," and several others.)

Oh wow. That's....wow. Are you serious? You gathered around the piano and sang? I have never heard of that, but your family sounds adorable. I'm sorry! My family is more prone to sit on the deck drinking and avoiding getting splashed by the kids in the pool. We don't do singalongs! It's all very American.

Yeah. We really did. I could hardly believe it was happening either. (my immediate family has done that sort of thing, but for the grandparents and uncles to get involved was unusual ... but awesomely fun!)

We were from Sound of Music and My Fair Lady and of course rounded it off with Oklahoma!
