Screen Watcher's Strike? (Completely unintentional, I assure you!)

The new television season has only been around for a month or two and - offense intended to those who are in the screenwriter-ly or involved in the real strike now on-going, (and especially not to those whose work continues to remain awesome) but from comments on my flist over the past few weeks I know that I am not the only one who has been left ( Read more... )

I can't believe you aren't watching FNL. It took a week or two but all the characters are back and I'm so completely on board again. All my distress with storylines, etc., have been well dealt with by the writers AGAIN. It's so odd, but they've sold a lot.

I use to watch NCIS but they lost me when they killed whatshername and replaced her with the mossad woman. And then the male agent fell in love, and lost his girl. I could probably work through those things, but their focus on terrorism is too much for me. I can't have any more terrorism focus; I'm saturated just by the GOP and the news. It's my second major reason for boycotting 24 every damn season.

Also, my little noir-loving heart enjoys having a cynical narrative voiceover around.

And yet.. you don't want Dexter. Cynical, snarky narrative voice over heaven.

That said, I will second daynr that Friday Night Lights has improved significantly from the first episode.

Also, Chuck has a certain charm when you watch all of it. But it's not Must See.
