I didn't like Journeyman at all, but I really liked Life. Pushing Daisies has the same kind of feel as Amelie. It's slightly surreal. I enjoyed the pilot and will be watching.
I'm not sure if you know this, but I watch NCIS, I just don't talk about it much. I wasn't a really big fan of last season, mainly because of the Jenny/Frog story line. Unlike many of the people on the TWoP board, I did actually like Tony/Jeanne.
YAY! Now there's almost five of us! (You, me, Warden, Carpe, and RedFlora who has only seen S1 and some of S2)
I became a fan towards the end of S2 (it was my "What do I do to kill time before VMars?" show at first and then I fell in love with the people and got hooked) and was a BIG fan by the end of S3 going into S4.
Really liked parts of S4 (including Tony's larger subplot) However the Jenny/Frog thing really disappointed me as well. Wouldn't have minded so much if they'd DONE SOMETHING with it. Instead it seemed cliched, forced and retconned.
I just suddenly got excited about new TV. I had NO IDEA Heroes returned tonight. I just happened to be watching the Bears game lastnight on NBC and saw a commercial for it. I was SHOCKED. That goodness I saw that, I would have missed it! D'oh.
I'm looking forward to Pushing Daises, Dirty Sexy Money, and Dexter. (DEXTER DEXTER DEXTER! It's the only show that I marked the premiere date on the schedule.)
NEW HEROES!!!! And new heroes on new Heroes! WHEEE!!!!
See, I don't get cable. So I have to choose to ignore the actual premieres of any shows on cable and just make plans to locate the shows as soon as possible after the fact.
So my tv viewing schedule is strickly network-only.
That doesn't mean that as soon as Avatar premieres I will be scouring the internets for all my contacts to get my grubby little paws on it ASAP. Because I will.
(But there may be a delay, which is another reason why I'm sorta ignoring that it also premieres this week, so I can distract myself.)

Huh. If that's the case, I may wind up liking it. I'm very big on episodic-combined-with-overall-arcs.

I'm hoping Torchwood S2 comes on soon.
