Well, here's how it happened: I attended a wedding Saturday entirely populated by Apple Inc. employees, one of whom contaminated everyone. By Monday the bride and most guests fell ill. I took my friendgrrl to the Md Monday 11am CST and she was positively diagnosed. I then picked up her 12-year old daughter from school at noon. She too had been at the wedding. Today i took said daughter to the pediatric clinic at 4:15pm CST. Another positive diagnosis. I can tell my body is seriously fighting off the H1N1... i have most of the symptoms they have, except that i am refusing to acknowledge that it "has" me. ;)
So i failed to (a) avoid large gatherings, (b) went to the dr's office and (c) went to the freakin' pediatric clinic. That pretty much adds up to "Making bad decisions if ya wanna' avoid the Swine Flu."
Oh man! I thought you were kidding about being sick. I'm sorry to hear that. I guess I won't see you tonight. :P Get well soon and eventually we'll have to get together for some cooking.
I'm kicking myself for getting half-assed sick the eve of Menaloas's going-away party! =P I actually am feeling fine now, due to jacking my essential nutrients last night before bed ala Emergen-C and their Immune-Boost coctails... but i think it'd be grossly irresponsible for me to go out into public so soon. Instead, i'll just sit at home and read a book. ;)
