I was reading this, all caught up in it, and found myself thinking - wow, I really want to know why he did all this! That ending was perfect and really turned the whole story on its head; I'm reeling a little! Well done :)

It's rather sad he couldn't just poison him or something? I would hate to come to my end knowing my own friend was killing me. I guess the murderer is rather mentally twisted so it does make sense, in a way.

Perhaps it's the torment of wanting to make up for his girlfriend's suffering that finally drove the murderer mad. We regret the most that which we cannot change.

This was very eerie, the way you took us inside his head. Great job!
