"we're too many people on a planet that's running out of space and resources too quickly."
The news won't tell people to stop fucking, cos they don't wanna hear that. They won't tell them that sodomy and abortion could be considered to be green. People don't wanna hear that.
Instead, they'll keep convincing people that if you recycle enough cans, we'll be fine.
It's b.s.
Still, you and guys. If I were the kinda guy that liked day time soap, I'd watch one about you.
well I'm just saying historically, we've been confined to much smaller populations and 'living off the land' when people can still die from the common cold. natural selection was a survival tactic. I want to do MORE than fucking recycle. half the time that's not the answer. it's moving away from mono/cash crops. it's being economically and environmentally pragmatic. it's outliving the dependency on oil.
everyone is too busy pointing finger while we rot away. nothing ever changes until we have a crisis. see: the largest body of water most accessible to me.
haha yeah... i'm finally finding ME in all this. it's okay. i have ways of entertaining myself...
trust me, I know my life is a sitcom. like Ross and Rachel, with more doom and gloom.
LOL thats what i thought you meant but that david fool went off on some weird tangent. no offense but that dude always comments and sounds like he is trying to be above thee~ when he types. it takes me so much restraint not to say anything. o wait i am saying something...
anyway sustainable development is really important because it not only demonstrates that it is possible to improve the way we develop society, but it shows that people are taking the extra time to care a little more about the planet. it's not like it's going to OMFG STOP GLOBAL INDUSTRIALIZATION AND SMOG!!!!! but by actually putting in an effort for more sustainable living it helps out- even if it's so miniscule. maybe some people don't give a fuck about respecting the planet they live on but god damn there better be some people who do! plus it's really good for business public relations when they state that they are sustainable, people think that they aren't just dipshit corporations.
