      Getting all four of my wisdom teeth yanked in about an hour. They're putting me under IV sedation. I am not happy with this. I don't like the idea of being forced to sleep with a provisional guarantee of waking up. Yeah, I know, this is ridiculously routine. I still don't like it.

When I had all mine removed, they knocked me out, too. I wasn't too thrilled either at the idea that I was suddenly going to be unconscious. But if your experience is anything like mine, it won't be too bad. It gets warm and fuzzy, and then suddenly you're awake again and its over. Won't likely be able to open your mouth all the way for a few weeks, but not too bad over all. And you get all the milkshakes you want. ;) Hope it goes well for you!
