Question: What was the most absurd thing that I noticed I do lately?
Answer: Put 1% milk in my coffee and then add 32% cream to it...

In other news, I finally gave in to the taste of sweet potatos (yam, batata). Especially fried, when they are soft in the inside and crispy on the outside...With sour cream on top... Yummy! :)

Batata is sweet potatoes. I would define it as a mix between a carrot and a potato.

umm... I think Batata is not potato... it's another family or something... ..I got 69 in plants, so I shouldn't know this shit at all :)
...and I'm glad you like it.
....and that's just *so* smart... where did you get 32% cream anyway? I think I only know the 30% kind (and only ever use, if at all, the cooking one, which is 10 or 15%)

Well, Batata is only remotely related to the potatoes, but it IS called "Sweet Potatos".

From Babylon:
--------
The sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) is a crop plant whose large, starchy, sweet-tasting tuberous roots are an important root vegetable. The young leaves and shoots are sometimes eaten as greens. The sweet potato is only distantly related to the potato (Solanum tuberosum). Although the sweet potato is sometimes known as yam in the United States, it is unrelated to the botanical yam.
