Wow! Did you capture that on the hill where you walk?

From my bathroom window, if you can believe it. I live in a tiny place with a lovely view.

LOL!
I don't have a bathroom window, but when there WAS One, it faced east...

What do you mean, "When there was one"? Did you wall it up, or push some large furnishing against it?

I only saw this now; forgive me for the tardy reply.

The sunsets this time of year are my favorite. But the most beautiful I ever saw was about ten years ago, when a couple friends and I were walking in the Palo Alto salt marshes after work. The entire sky was covered with cirrocumulus clouds, so the effect was like hammered copper (for lack of a better image). And did I have the camera along? Of course not!

Thanks! I had a Flickr account, once, but have pared my social media down to LJ -- which is a good reason for me to get off my ass and post regularly again!

That would be great!

I myself quit all but FlickR and LJ last year.

I was on Bear411, Silver Daddies, Bigger City, and Bruizr.com, and quit them all.

My experiences with them were unsatisfactory.

It's hard to beat LJ. I've met (and continue to meet) some terrific folk here.
