Yeah, sorry about the lack of... anything, from myself and sethoz. Here's hoping the two-ficlets-in-one-day is a sign of good things; I'll post a new quote next week, and keep on my responsibilities... @_@ Apologies for 'abandoning' you.

Oh, I don't mind the job at all. I still like the idea of this community. My main problem is that it's just hard to remember when three weeks have passed, since I'm (theoretically) supposed to post at that interval.

Title: Unreclaimed
Fandom: LXG - specifically, “LXG: The RPG”
Rating: I’m gonna say PG, just to be safe
Characters: Dorian Gray, Elizabeth Quatermain
Notes: Dorian is played in the game by without_ascript. Elizabeth is my original character and played by, oddly enough, me. This story takes place at some undefined point in the future; it’s based on events which are scheduled to happen.
Summary: She doesn’t know she can’t save him…she’s the only one who has ever bothered to try.

::raises hand for a question:: I'm new here XD

I just wanted to know if the quote has to be in the ficlet, anywhere?

No, you don't need to have the actual quote in the story. The idea is simply to write a story *inspired by* the quote. :)

As jordannamorgan said, it's not required, but it's preferable :)
